and while Cape Agulhas is the actual southern most tip of Africa...
Cape Point represents, for Cape Townians, the "emotional" southern most tip of Africa.
Sam loved the Leatherback Lizards...
and I liked the flora...
The views were spectacular...
as was the clarity of the water.
We continued our adventure along the famous "Chapman's Peak Drive"...
Stopping to be "tourists in love" before...
heading back to the picturesque Cape Town.
An example of good living in Camps Bay (we like the pool - see it?)
After Cape Town, we went to Joburg and kidnapped my 93 year old Granny Betty...
and her care-taker and friend, Pumi. We stopped at Mount Grace for tea...
before settling into Hunter's Rest for 3 days.
Quality time with Granny and Andrea forging a strong bond...
was an absolute highlight for all of us!
Andrea once again fascinated by baboons on the side of the road...
baring their massive jaws at a rival close by...
and running care free through the parking lot of...
the famous hotel - The Lost City
which is an extension of the famous Sun City.
Very exclusive and only open to guests...
we had to bribe our way in.
We sat by the pool and granny was on her cell right away bragging to her friends.
Things were good until the clouds rolled in and...
next thing you know, we're trapped having a 3 hour lunch...
